COUNCIL
OF DELEGATES
Purpose
The National
Association of Medical Sales Representatives™ looks
to hold its annual meeting/convention in November 2007 as
the result of a national NAMSR™ strategic planning
process.
The
purpose of the Convention of Medical Sales Representatives
was to establish communication among the delegates and to
generate ideas for continuing education and training by
the NAMSR™. Delegates brought insight from various
different types of medical device and equipment manufacturers.

Composition
The
COD includes Medical Sales Representatives from various affiliated
medical device and equipment companies. The Delegate’s experience
is vast with quite a variance in medical products and services
sold. In addition, each Delegate was selected because of their
success in medical sales.

Responsibilities
of the COD
- To
evaluate the operations of the National Association of Medical
Sales Representatives™
-
To publish an annual report on its evaluation and the state
of the association
- To
review and recommend the association’s educational programs
- To
establish criteria for affiliated and co-operating training
programs
- To
enhance the lines of communications between delegates and NAMSR™
members while promoting a true spirit of cooperation and partnership
- To
provide a formal opportunity and mechanism for all delegates
to play a direct role in our national association's decision
making process
- To
provide resolutions and recommendations to the national association's
Board of Directors for its evaluation and incorporation into
the Board's decision making process
The
Council elects a chairman, vice president and marketing manger
who are responsible for providing necessary COD leadership and
management of the association. Current leaders of the COD are:
